Our friends from the Swiss sailing magazine of reference are organizing the 2nd Skippers Cup (after the one in 2011 at the BVI's) from May 15th to 21st 2022.
Voile Evasion is a partner of the event and will be present during the whole week to organize the itinerary and cover the regatta in photos and videos.
There is still one last boat available out of the ten monohulls that will leave Split on Sunday, May 15th.
The Skippers Cup organizers have chosen a Sun Odyssey 410 monohull because it is the best cruising boat of this size for such an event today, all charter companies included.
Arrival in Split, transfer to the marina Agana, welcome party offered by TeamWork, briefing of the skippers for the next day's navigation (then every evening on the flagship) and night on board.
Head for the island of Brac (20 miles, about 4 hours) and the bay of Milna, deep and protected, with many marinas. The island of Brac is famous for its olive oil and its white stone (used to build the White House in Washington). Free evening.
Sailing to Komiza (30 miles, about 6 hours), located on the west coast of the island of Vis, the only volcanic island in the region. Well known for its wine and rich history, Komiza was once a fishing village.
Skippers briefing, dinner at Jastozera restaurant famous for its lobster recipe, evening offered by our sponsor. Night at the quay in town with water and electricity.
Sailing to Vinogradisce Bay (20 miles, about 4 hours), on the southern coast of the island of St. Clement, the largest island in the Pakleni archipelago, located just south of the most famous island city in Croatia: Hvar. Briefing of the skippers, dinner at Toto's restaurant offered by our sponsor. Overnight stay on buoys near the port.
Sailing to Maslinica, on the west coast of Solta, a real nautical paradise: an old fishing village full of charm, today home to the most awarded small marina in Croatia, next to a beautiful historical hotel and a gourmet restaurant. Briefing of the skippers and free evening, night in the marina of Martinis March.
Regatta in the small archipelago of 7 islands in front of the town of Maslinica and return to Agana (12 miles). Closing evening offered by Sunsail and Leopard Catamarans, prize giving at the Sky-Beach Hotel Rooftop. Night at the marina.
