Mallorca itinerary from Palma

Here are the details of the itinerary taken by your sailboat and its crew during your cabin cruise in Palma de Mallorca :

Croisière à la cabine - Baléares

Day 1 - Palma de Mallorca

Plan to arrive early to visit the old town of Palma. Stroll through its cobbled streets and visit one of the most famous Gothic churches in Europe: Palma's cathedral, known as "La Seu", which means "the seat" and probably referred to the Bishop's chair. Soak up the historical atmosphere and charm of Palma before boarding at 6pm.

Then you will settle on board, and after the safety briefing, we will set sail for a short sail (1h30 max.) to Cala Portals Vells, a beautiful cove with crystal clear waters.

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 2 - Cala Portals vells – Cala Pi - Colonia Sant Jordi (25NM - 2h30 + escale à Cala Pi, 1h30)

After breakfast, departure for Cala Pi. Its charming beach and turquoise waters invite you to swim and snorkel. There is a beach bar and three restaurants. A few centuries ago, pirate attacks were common in this area: the remains of a watchtower overlook the beach.

Lunch on board at anchor. If the wind or weather conditions are not favourable, we will continue to the port of Sa Rapita (about 3 MN eastward) which has a sheltered marina.

After lunch we will hoist the sails and sail to Colonia Sant Jordi (15mn - 2h30). Colonia is renowned for its beautiful white sand beaches, including Es Carbo, frequented by the royal family, and Es Trenc, a more secluded beach of about 3 km with golden sand and translucent sea. Swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing on the beach are on the program. In the city, along the Avinguda de la Primavera, you will find many tapas bars and restaurants. We will anchor for the night between the islets Gabina and Redonda.

Dinner and overnight on board.

We will sail north after breakfast along the picturesque coast to Cala Figuera. Known locally as "Little Venice", Cala Figuera is one of the most authentic and secluded anchorages on the south-east coast of Mallorca. The fishing port has remained intact, with its whitewashed houses and boathouses dotted along the shore. After lunch on board, you will enjoy the unspoilt environment. Then we will sail to Porto Petro, a former fishing port that has become a pleasant seaside resort with a well-sheltered bay.

Dinner and overnight on board.

White sand and a sea of breathtaking transparency and purity make it the favourite place for nature lovers, photographers and snorkelers. A tropical and heavenly atmosphere emanates from this superb beach, thanks to the incredible turquoise shades of the water.

Some "chiringuitos" (bars and stalls) offer tapas, snacks, food and drinks as well as beach accessories, and play latino music from 6pm. You will spend a wonderful day in Es Trenc, between relaxation, snorkeling and beach activities.
