New destination: Venice

You will soon be able to enjoy a new sailing and catamaran rental base in Venice, easily accessible by car or train from Switzerland.

Go on an adventure on the lagoon of Venice and its 118 islands which are an ideal destination to rent your sailboat and sail near you while tasting the charms of the history, the culture and the Italian gastronomy.

Discover the city of Venice, on the main island of the lagoon, with its many canals, narrow streets and historic center. Visit the famous St. Mark's Square and its grand basilica, the Doge's Palace and its famous Bridge of Sighs. Discover the Rialto Bridge, the small floating merchants and wander through the labyrinths of streets to feel the special atmosphere of the city.

Take the moorings and discover the surrounding islands. On the island of Murano to admire the work of the glass craftsmen, or the island of Burano, known for the work of the needle lace where you will discover pretty fishermen's houses with colorful facades.

To rent a sailboat here will also allow you to discover Mazzorbo, a small island near Burano and famous for its vineyards and orchards, San Francisco Del Deserto, nicknamed "the silent island" which houses, since the 13th century, a Franciscan convent that you can visit (be careful the island is not open all the time). Enjoy your cruise in the lagoon of Venice to discover Torcello, San Clemente or Sacca and Chiogga.

If you want more adventures, leave the lagoon and set sail towards northern Croatia (Istria) for a longer navigation (approx. 50 NM) and a landing on the rocky shores and green hills typical of the Croatia.
