The 2026 Skippers Cup, organised by Skippers magazine and Voile Evasion, took place in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) from 2 to 9 May.
The event brought together more than 40 participants across seven crews aboard Sunsail 424 yachts, setting sail from the Tortola base.
This week of sailing was marked by an exceptional atmosphere amongst the crews, daily regattas and a packed programme of exploration in the heart of the British Virgin Islands.
With a mix of competition, adventure, incredible scenery and moments of camaraderie, this 2026 edition will undoubtedly remain a wonderful memory for all participants.
The competition was won by François Bopp on Maracas, followed by Sébastien Aubord on Andiamo and Christian Willi on Balboa Blue.
Participants also enjoyed numerous aperitifs and meals organised especially for the occasion, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Every morning, they were also able to enjoy yoga sessions overlooking the sea led by Megan Marcelle, offering the perfect balance between sailing, sport, relaxation and well-being.
